Why it matters

Nothing slips. Nobody chases.

CMap knows when things happen. Outlook is where your team already works. This integration connects the two, automatically.
Nothing slips through
The right people are notified the moment an event happens in CMap, not hours or days later.
No manual chasing
Emails send themselves, freeing your team from repetitive status updates and reminders.
In the tools you already use
Alerts land in the Outlook inboxes your team already lives in, with no new app to learn.
No code required
Prebuilt Zap templates get each workflow live in minutes, with no developer needed.
getting set up

Live in minutes, not weeks.

Each workflow starts from a prebuilt Zap template. Three steps, then it just runs. Pick the CMap event, connect Outlook, and populate the To field, then turn the Zap on.

Open a Zap template
Choose the CMap event you want to send an email for.
Connect CMap & Outlook
Authorise both accounts in Zapier, just once.
Set recipient & message
Populate the To field, tailor the email, and turn the Zap on.

Frequently asked questions

How many Zaps can I run?

As many as you need. Each CMap event has its own Zap template, and you can run several side by side, each with its own recipient and message.

Is the integration available on both editions?

Yes. It is available on both the Consulting and AEC editions of CMap.

Why do I have to fill in the To field?

The Zap templates leave the To field blank on purpose, because the right recipient depends on your process. You populate it with a fixed address or a field from the CMap record. If it is left blank, the Zap cannot send.

Do I need any code to set this up?

No. Each workflow uses a prebuilt Zap template. You connect your CMap and Microsoft Outlook accounts in Zapier, populate the To field, tailor the email and turn the Zap on.

Which CMap events can trigger an email?

Eleven events across sales, CRM and delivery: new company, new contact, new lead, new potential, potential won, potential lost, fee estimate updated, new project, project updated, project closure and timesheet submitted.

Does CMap integrate with Microsoft Outlook?

Yes. Using Zapier, events in CMap can automatically send an email from Microsoft Outlook. CMap publishes prebuilt Zap templates for eleven trigger events, so you can connect the two in minutes with no code.
