Boards & items
Ready to run
What syncs
New CMap projects, as a monday.com board or as an item on a board you choose
How it runs
On Zapier, the moment a project is created in CMap. One direction, no middleware
Works with
Your own monday.com account, in the workspace, board and group you nominate
Included in
AEC & Consulting (PSA) editions. Needs a Zapier plan with multi-step Zaps
The integration ships as ready-made CMap workflow templates on Zapier. Three steps, then it just runs. Create a project in CMap and monday.com is updated on the spot, in the workspace, board and group you nominated.
Both. The monday.com workflows work on the AEC edition and the Consulting (PSA) edition of CMap.
Yes. The integration runs in your own Zapier account, which keeps you in control of exactly what syncs and when. Each workflow uses three steps, so you need a Zapier plan that supports multi-step Zaps. There is no middleware to build and no code to write.
No. Both workflows create a record and stop, so editing the project in CMap afterwards does not rename the board or update the item. CMap stays the system of record for the commercial project and monday.com owns the delivery plan from that point on.
Whichever suits your team. There are two workflows. Use the board workflow if you plan each project on its own board, and the item workflow if you track every project as a row on a single portfolio board. You can run both, with a filter deciding which projects get their own board.
New projects flow from CMap to monday.com. The board workflow creates a board named from the project title and the client company, optionally built from your own board template. The item workflow creates an item named from the project title, in the group you choose, with an optional subitem. Nothing flows back from monday.com to CMap.
Yes. CMap publishes ready-made monday.com workflow templates on Zapier. When a project is created in CMap, monday.com is updated automatically: either a new board is created for that project, or a new item is added to a board you nominate.
monday.com is one of CMap's project management integrations, built on Zapier so you stay in control of what flows through, alongside the accounting, CRM and collaboration tools your business already runs on.
