Is the BambooHR integration included in my CMap plan?

The integration is available on every CMap plan, on both the Consulting and AEC editions. It is delivered through Zapier, so a Zapier account is required and a paid Zapier plan may be needed for multi-step workflows.

Can I bring across my BambooHR custom fields?

Yes. The create and update workflows can map your BambooHR custom fields into CMap. Custom fields are retrieved by their API name, which you can find in BambooHR under Settings then Employee Fields.

How are BambooHR employees matched to CMap users?

Employees are matched to CMap users by an exact match on work email, so the work email must be identical in both systems. This is more reliable than name matching because emails are unique and are not affected by name changes.

What data syncs between BambooHR and CMap?

Data flows from BambooHR into CMap: new employees create CMap users, employee updates (including custom fields) update those users, and time off requests are added to CMap in days or hours. All four workflows run one way, from BambooHR to CMap.

Does CMap integrate with BambooHR?
