Setting up Sage 200 is a guided process, run with your CMap consultant during implementation or with our support team if you add it later. We make sure you have everything you need to go live, and from then on it looks after itself: raise or approve a transaction in CMap and it is on its way to Sage 200, with payments coming back without anyone asking.
The integration supports Sage 200c Professional. If you run a different version of Sage 200, speak to your CMap account manager before you plan the work.
It is listed in the exceptions area in CMap with the reason it failed. You correct the record in CMap and re-queue it. Successful transfers appear on the sales invoice, purchase invoice and expenses audit reports.
From CMap to Sage 200: sales invoices and credit notes, purchase invoices, and staff expenses, carrying the nominal codes you have mapped, along with the cost centres, departments and transaction analysis codes held against your projects and users. From Sage 200 to CMap: invoice payments, so CMap shows what has actually been settled.
Yes, from the Growth plan upwards. Accounting integrations are part of the standard feature set on the Growth, Pro and Enterprise plans, on both the Consulting and AEC editions, so there is nothing extra to buy.
By code, not by name. Each CMap company holds its matching Sage 200 account code in the Finance System Account Code field, suppliers hold theirs in Finance System Supplier Code, and expense claimants hold theirs on their user record. Because the link is on the code, renaming a company in either system does not break it.
Sales invoices and credit notes arrive as drafts, so your finance team can run a final check before posting them. Purchase invoices and staff expenses transfer once they have passed their final approval step in CMap.
Yes. Sales invoices and credit notes transfer to Sage 200 as soon as they are raised and have passed your approval checks, and purchase invoices and staff expenses transfer once they pass final approval. Invoice payments are applied back to CMap. It is a core CMap integration, built and maintained by CMap with no third-party middleware.
Sage 200 is one of CMap's finance integrations, included from the Growth plan upwards, on both the Consulting and AEC editions, alongside the accounting, CRM and collaboration tools your business already runs on.
