Introducing CMap Mail and CMap PIM: Atvero integrates with CMap branding

We’re excited to share a major milestone in our journey: Atvero is officially merging into the CMap brand!

As of today, Atvero Mail will be known as CMap Mail, and Atvero PIM will become CMap PIM. This rebrand represents a unification of our purpose and vision for serving architects and engineers, bringing all of our AEC project and practice management tools under one name.

Why we’re rebranding

This rebrand follows a strong period of growth for the Atvero products, driven by major investment in both product (including the success of Atvero Mail, launched in 2024) and people. Since joining the CMap family in 2023, the Atvero brand has more than quadrupled in size, welcoming a wide range of new AEC clients, including numerous practices from the AJ100. Commenting on the future direction, CMap Product Director Ben Jervis said:

“We now serve the AEC industry with a suite of best-of-breed, cloud-based, email and project information management solutions. The vision is to bring these products closer together, and clients are already seeing huge benefits from this approach - with the recently launched CMap Mail integration enabling customers to view and search project email inside CMap, right alongside project financials and resourcing. 
But - it’s important to note that Mail and PIM will continue to have independent roadmaps, and be available independently of the CMap practice management solution.”

What’s changing?

While our name and logo are changing, the tools and experience you know and trust remain the same. This update is purely visual and strategic, helping us deliver a more cohesive experience across all CMap products.

What this means for you

There’s no action needed on your part. Your product access, functionality, and support remain exactly as they are, just under a new name.

What is CMap, and what’s the background here? 

CMap is a software provider that’s been serving the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry for many years with its industry-focused practice management solutions. In 2023, CMap acquired Atvero, bringing project information management (PIM) into its suite. In 2024, we launched our standalone email management solution Atvero Mail. 

Now, we’re bringing everything together under the CMap brand. This change reflects the significant investment we’re making in our products and people - but rest assured, this is purely a brand update. The tools you rely on remain the same, just under a unified name. 

Why is this happening now? 

We see this as the right moment to deliver a more cohesive, connected experience for our clients. By bringing everything under the CMap brand, we can present a clearer, more consistent identity to our clients and continue improving how our solutions work together for their businesses. 

Does this mean I need to buy the CMap AEC edition?

No, CMap Mail and CMap PIM are, and will continue to be, available as standalone solutions. This rebrand simply brings everything under one name. If you choose to adopt multiple CMap products, you can unlock even more benefits through deeper integration, but there’s no requirement to buy anything beyond what you already use. 

Does anything change in terms of product support? 

No, your product support remains exactly the same. You’ll continue to get help from the same team, in the same way. If you need assistance, please contact support on your usual channels. 

Does anything change in terms of account management? 

No, you’ll continue to have one dedicated account manager, no matter how many CMap products you use. If you’re not sure who your account manager is, just reach out and we’ll point you in the right direction. 

What happens next? 

The new CMap Mail & CMap PIM branding is now live across our products, website, and materials. Over the coming months, we’ll continue to align our internal processes and systems, all aimed at delivering an even better, more connected experience for you as a client.
