The Role:

Working within a growing sales team the role involves prospecting into contacts, contacting them through various modes of outreach and introducing them to CMap. You will be expected to qualify their needs & pain points via phone with the aim to generate business opportunities. In the role you will be supported via various channels including marketing generated leads, social media research & self-generated leads. To help you achieve your targets, there are minimum KPI targets we expect all SDR’s to meet – these are comfortably achievable and built around supporting you and your development. This role is ideally suited to someone that is looking for an entry level sales role who has ambition to build a career in tech sales. We have a fully built out training and development plan for all new joiners and we pride ourselves on providing the support to all new joiners on building a career with us.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The primary goal for an SDR at CMap is to generate pipeline of new sales opportunities for the company by creating awareness, account prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • This is done through mainly telephone and e-mail outreach. We also utilise LinkedIn, Vidyard and a number of other sales enablement tools, including Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Nav and Salesforce CRM.
  • A clear understanding of CMap product and its capabilities across sectors.
  • Understands the CMap Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) so that prospecting activity is targeted to the correct personas.
  • Ensure appointments booked with prospects are accurate and meeting qualification is carried out prior to booking in correct timeslots for the Sales Consultants.
  • Understand ongoing sales priorities and targets.
  • Extensive use Salesloft and Salesforce CRM, and other tools to build up to and hit daily KPI targets.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Sales or Customer-Facing role not required but preferred
  • A thirst for feedback and someone who likes to challenge themselves on a daily basis
  • Self-motivated and consistency in motivation and attitude
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Enjoy working as a part of a team
  • Confident telephone presence
  • Previous experience with CRM tools would be beneficial but not essential
  • IT literate - proficient in the use of Excel and Outlook
